Dr. Namthuyen Nguyen was born in Vietnam. Due to the turbulent times in the country, her parents escaped when she was the age of 2 and have resided in the Sacramento area ever since. At a very young age she knew that she wanted to become a dentist. With her dreams in hand, she graduated from Center High School in the top five percent of her class. Her education continued at UCSD where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2003. Wanting to expand her horizons, she accepted an offer to attend University of Pennsylvania Dental School where she graduated in 2007. Upon returning home, Dr. Nguyen found a wonderful dental office in Galt where she now practices.
Dr. Nguyen believes that all patients should be treated like family and be given all their options so that they can make an educated decision that fits there medical and financial needs. Dr. Nguyen has been able to retain almost every patient that meets her, because of her gentle work and amiable personality.
On the home front, Dr. Nguyen is currently engaged and is set to be married in July of 2008. Her fiancé is a high school math teacher. Although kids are a future endeavor, two cats and an upcoming puppy fill the household for the time being. She is very close to her family and sees them on a daily basis.
